What Christian mother doesn’t want her daughter to become more than the good girl she already is? I believe they want them to become a God girl who is on the path of maturity towards Christian womanhood.
This path is not an easy one to follow as it requires a deeper relationship with the Lord, one that is more enriched than it is at present. What the author of this book, Hayley DiMarco, has done here is to have gleaned the most appropriate scriptures she could find to create a 30-day journey of self-discovery designed to achieve the necessary spiritual transformation to the God girl the Lord wants her to be.
Just as we cleanse ourselves by showering or taking a bath before we go to church each Sunday, this book begins with the cleansing of a girl’s spiritual body to allow for a more profound bond with the Lord. This book is fraught with scriptures and stimulating/challenging questions for young girls to ponder regarding their current spiritual lives, to take her next steps in becoming a mature Christian woman.
However, after reading this book to review it, I found the title to be slightly off. This book NOT only gives a god girl the ability to have a deeper faith with the Lord, but the book also allows any woman to have a more profound relationship with the Lord as well. It is for this reason I’ve given Ms. DiMarco the 5 STAR she justly deserves for her endeavor here.
