NONFICTION BOOK REVIEW #2020-020 - Exercise Your Faith: Defeating the Lies Men Believe

FINALLY, A CHRISTIAN BOOK THAT DVELVES INTO OVERLOOKED TOPICS [LIES] FOR MALES

I read this book after finding out about it on a Christian FaceBook group and requesting a MOBI.file copy of it, and the following is my honest opinion.

Ladies, you know the guys who you have a relationship with or happen to be married to in the bonds of holy matrimony. They’re lovely, aren’t they? Yet, at the same time, they can be quite arrogant regarding their manhood. They’re unwilling to admit to all the lies they believe in, perhaps this is due to their stubbornness of acknowledging any weakness they might possess, or that the Lord might be able to help them overcome them.

What author of this book, David L. Winters, is attempting to do is for his male counterparts is for them to start debunking these lies, through a closer relationship to the Lord, and His words of wisdom found in the Bible. To accomplish this goal, Mr. Winters takes his readers through a month of examining one lie a day; and like Jesus teaching His believers a lesson through the use of parables, the author uses resonating personal stories to do the demystifying of the lies they unfortunately believe is the truth.

And if you should have any doubts regarding this possible change, all you need to do is to look at JOHN 8:31-32 [NKJV]

[31] “…If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
[32] And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

For wanting to transform the lives from believing their lives to one that’s fraught with the truth [of the Lord], I believe this is a book that all women should give to the men in their lives since they would probably never get the book for themselves, and why as a voracious reviewer of nonfiction Christian books that I’ve given Mr. Winters the 5 STARS he’s receiving from me.

    1. You're quite welcome David, my pleasure. Just like knowledge, reviews are useless unless they're shared,
