NONFICTION BOOK REVIEW #2020-059 - Room for One: Learning to Love God, Cast Out Idols, and Bring Your Faith to Life

WALKING IN THE GARDEN WITH OUR LORD

I read this book via a KINDLE Unlimited download.

MATTHEW 22:37 [NKJV] tells us:

Jesus said to him, “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.”

To fulfill this directive as Christians, we need to foster an increase in the relationship we have with the Lord, and to accomplish this sincerely, we need to develop a unique intimacy with Him.

A great thing about this book is that it operates at different levels determined by the reader’s current relationship status within the Christian faith. To those who are new to the Christian faith, the book is an open invitation to suppress their inherent curiosity by dwelling more in-depth into the faith they’ve chosen to be part of.

If you’re well-schooled in being a good Christian, the book serves to take your adoration for the Lord to the next level to a place you’ve never been before. As one travels this path, one needs to take heed that they’re not distracted by any idolatry that they might encounter for Satan is perpetually on the lookout to capture another soul for his dominion.

The book is fraught with inspiring and challenging pages with words from the Lord. I believe that if one follows what this book is about that the words from “In the Garden” might become a reality in their relationship with the Lord.

…And he walks with me
And he talks with me
[Chorus]
And he tells me I am His own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known

Which is why I chosen to give Mr. Caswell 5 STARS for his endeavor here.
