NONFICTION BOOK REVIEW #2020-057 - Gutsy Girls: Strong Christian Women Who Impacted the World: Book Four: Jennifer Wiseman

THE WORLD OF SCIENCE AND THE LORD CAN AND DOES INTERMINGLE IN AN HARMONIOUS MANNER

I and my inner-child read this book via an Amazon KINDLE Unlimited download.

Moms, do you remember as you were growing up as a young girl who did you have as a Christian role model; naturally, it would have been your mothers. These days young girls need to have as a role model, more than ever, someone who has made a significant impact on the world we live in today. These days women are excelling in fields that only a few years ago had been considered to be unimaginable, such as being an astronomer and scientist.

In this, the fourth book in her series of Gutsy Girls, author Amy L. Sullivan, examines the life of Dr. Jennifer Wiseman and what took her from being a young girl who had an inquisitiveness and passion for nature that had gotten instilled with love for the Lord.

This book shows that the secular world of science can and does meet the scriptural world of the Lord in a sort of harmony and understanding while serving as an inspiration for young girls to possess a desire to explore something new and exciting when they become a Christian woman. It is for this reason I’ve given Ms. Sullivan the 5 STARS she has received from this voracious reviewer of nonfiction Christian books and, of course, my inner-child.
