Christians,
especially those who are believers, should be praising the Lord each day by
offering a prayer regardless of how brief it might be. With the harried lives
we’re living, it’s not always that easy to formulate one, and many might be
homebound for one reason or another, especially now with the COVID-19 prevent
us from going to church, which why I’ve decided to offer a weekly suggestion [on
Sundays] designed to suffice this need for them. If anyone desires to leave a
comment regarding the prayer offering for today, please feel free to do so.
O
God of glory and greatness,
Save
thy flock from the lions’ jaws;
Free
thy children from captivity,
Thy
chosen children from all others.
Lord,
our eternal Master of worlds,
You
are the supreme King of kings.
Your
mighty acts and wondrous deeds
It
is our pleasure to declare.
Return
to thy most holy throne,
The
place where all our souls will one day rejoice
And
sing melodic hymns of praise
To
thy greatness, and to thy benevolence.
And
with that, let us all answer, AMEN
