NONFICTION BOOK REVIEW #2020-041 - How To Meditate In God's Word & Why: Meditation Transformation Victory

GETTING TO KNOW YOU, GETTING TO KNOW ALL ABOUT YOU, MY LORD

In writing this book, the author, Sheldon Newton, wants his readers to have a relationship that is one with the Lord, as we read in PHILIPPIANS 2:2 [NKJV]

"fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind."

Mr. Newton wants them to realize that as Christians, they desire to ascend to a higher level in their lives, which is having a closer and more intimate relationship with the Lord. While the food we consume might feed our bodies, we need some spiritual food to feed our souls. We need to remember that ROMANS 14:17 [NKJV] reminds us:

"For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit."

With each chapter, the author has sowed another seed regarding the meditation process into the minds of his readers so it can grow and bear the appropriate fruit that's intended for that chapter. After 21 chapters have gotten read by his readers, the last chapter serves as a fertilizer [an enrichment] to the knowledge they've obtained regarding the meditation process, by giving them 100 reasons for reading the Bible on an on-going basis.

For wanting his readers to achieve a closer relationship with the Lord by getting to know Him better, I've given Mr. Newton the 5 STARS he’s garnered from this voracious reviewer of non-fiction Christian books.
