Christians,
especially those who are believers, should be praising the Lord each day by
offering a prayer regardless of how brief it might be. With the harried lives
we’re living, it’s not always that easy to formulate one, and many might be
homebound for one reason or another, especially now with the COVID-19 prevent
us from going to church, which why I’ve decided to offer a weekly suggestion [on
Sundays] designed to suffice this need for them. If anyone desires to leave a
comment regarding the prayer offering for today, please feel free to do so.
My
God, the soul that you have placed with us is pure. Thou has created it; thou
has formed it; thou has place it with us. Thou has preserved it with us; thou
will take it from us, and restore it to us in the hereafter. So long us the soul
is within us, we will offer our thanks before you, Lord our God, Master of all
creatures, Lord of all souls, O Lord, who will restore the souls to the dead.
And
with that, let us say, AMEN
