IMPROVING YOUR STANDING AS A CHRISTIAN WOMAN
I read this book via an Amazon KINDLE Unlimited download.
PROVERBS
31:30 [NKJV] tells us that:
“Charm is deceitful
and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears
the LORD, she shall be praised.”
And
if you’re a Christian woman, isn’t this the way you’d love to be.
To
attain this ambitious goal, the author, Cindy A. Kent, wants her readers to
know that women need to improve their manner of walking in faith as well as
heightening their Christian personality. Unlike other devotionals, there is no
lengthy dissertation, etc. of a specific verse of scripture. Instead, readers
will find a find thought-provoking or a challenging statement followed by a
scripture and are then left to meditate as what it means to them in their
lives.
For
example, I’m writing this review on March 13th; it is the 73rd
day in the year of the Lord [AD = Anno Domini] 2020, and for this day the book
gives its readers the following:
Be
a woman of God and know that the Lord sees all that you do for Him. “For God is not unjust to forget your work
and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have
ministered to the saints, and do minister” (Hebrews 6:10).
One
of the first things that came to my mind is 1 THESSALONIANS 1:2-3 [NKJV] where
we read:

We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers,
[3]
remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of
hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father,
[4]knowing, beloved brethren, your election by God.

The
author in compiling this book wants to remind her readers that the Lord is
forever on the search for Christian women who follow what’s written in PSALM
105:4 [NKJV]
“Seek
the LORD and His strength; Seek His face evermore!”
For
wanting her Christian women readers to achieve the book’s goal in their lives,
I’ve given Ms. Kent the 5 STARS she’s garnered for her endeavor here.
